In 1996, Vincent Chaillet entered the Ballet School and by 2002, at the age of 18, he was admitted to the Corps de ballet. In 2005, Vincent became a “Coryphée,” advanced to “Sujet” in 2008, and was promoted to “Premier danseur” in 2010.

His main roles include Le Maître de ballet in La Petite danseuse de Degas (Bart), Le Cerbère in Orphée et Eurydice (Bausch), L’Oiseau de feu and one of the chiefs in Le Sacre du printemps (Béjart), O zlozony/O composite (Brown), Une Sorte de…, Appartement (Ek), Pas./parts, Approximate Sonata, and The Vertiginous Thrill of Exactitude (Forsythe). He also performed as the Mikado in Kaguyahime and appeared in Doux mensonges (Kylián), Iñigo in Paquita (Lacotte after Mazilier and Petipa), James in La Sylphide (Lacotte after Taglioni), Thésée in Phèdre (Lifar), Lacenaire in Les Enfants du paradis (Martinez), Le Meunier in Le Tricorne (Massine), Le Pasteur in Fall River Legend (Agnes de Mille), Triade (Millepied), Mahler’s Third Symphony, Gaston Rieux in La Dame aux camélias (Neumeier), Danse arabe in The Nutcracker, Le Producteur in Cendrillon, Tybalt in Roméo et Juliette, Basilio in Don Quichotte, Le Prince Désiré in Sleeping Beauty, Drosselmeyer/Le Prince in The Nutcracker (Nureyev), Répliques (Paul), In The Night (Robbins), and Roméo in Roméo et Juliette (Waltz).
